- Budgeting Apps YNAB Alternatives for 2025 - MoneySavingExpert Forum
I've been a YNAB user for almost 8 years now It's been a good tool for me, and overall I've been very happy with it
- YNAB — MoneySavingExpert Forum
YNAB has essentially turned round and given those people the two-fingered salute whilst trying to gaslight them into believing they were offered a 10% discount for life rather than $45 per year
- What Exactly is YNAB and is it worth it? - MoneySavingExpert Forum
I started using YNAB in 2015 and have never looked back It is literally life changing It makes you look at your money differently It is worth every penny and more of the fee for the software I have YNAB 4 (the old classic version where you paid a one-off fee for life), but have recently started a trial of the new subscription service
- Ynab! — MoneySavingExpert Forum
The way I budgeted and cleared my debts was very similar to YNAB in setting up what I called "departments" with annual payments split over the year in 11 monthly deposits to a regular savings account (interest) (5 in the first year) and the remaining departments constituent parts of the whole
- YNAB - good or bad - MoneySavingExpert Forum
Hi Talk to me about YNAB I keep hearing people say how it's really helped them to budget and get on track with everything
- Budgeting with YNAB or Monzo - MoneySavingExpert Forum
Thanks for your reply and the details! The Monzo pots are what appealed to me and the spending categories I struggle more with budgeting expenses that are not paid monthly, such as car maintenance, insurances and gifts etc I'd like something to help me budget over the year and save up gradually towards each of these kind of items, so the pots sound ideal I'll see how I get on with the YNAB
- Budgeting with YNAB or Monzo - MoneySavingExpert Forum
Just curious - why do you need a separate sheet for that? You could use the "Tracking" type accounts in YNAB, which are off the main budget, right?
- YNAB - 1 year of budgeting, I can see why Im in debt now
UPDATE ON PAGE 2 FOR NOV 2019 I always start off with good intentions of getting my debt down, I make a budget, transfer what I need for savings and monthly spends into different bank accounts at the beginning of the month
- Budgeting with YNAB or Monzo - MoneySavingExpert Forum
YNAB works with USA Canada banks for automatic imports, but not with UK banks and that's a shame (and missed opportunity) especially considering open banking If YNAB expands into the UK market, then I will very likely pay for their annual subscription
- Budgeting alternative to YNAB - MoneySavingExpert Forum
On the other hand, it's a comprehensive financial suite with excellent reporting, so it does a lot that YNAB doesn't do I'm also just starting experimenting with MoneyWiz, which looks ok but doesn't seem to do envelope budgeting (I haven't yet used it enough to be certain) It's also subscription, so not much cheaper than YNAB
