the frisco community newsletter was created in 2001 by matt lafata, a six-year former frisco (texas) city council member. the popular grass-roots e-publication is the largest of its kind in frisco. readers ask to receive the weekly email blast containing community news and events in frisco submitted by various individuals and groups. after the newsletter email blast goes out each week it's posted in the past issues section of our website. our newsletter is truly for the community and by the community - the majority of the content is submitted to us by our many eyes and ears of frisco who want others to know about what's going on with their respective organizations. think of us as your massive virtual community bulletin board and feel free to keep us in the loop about your activities!
