For some reason i have been drawn to the W10 Tailwind, but i have a question The original wing construction is built up wing with ply wood skins I'm thinking of substituting the built up ribs with foam and having a fiberglass skin, using the same spars Using the construction technique from a kr2 Is there any problem with this?

My recollection is that he built around 11 Tailwinds I'm not sure if that included his version of the Buttercup and a larger version of the Tailwind He came up with some changes to the design that many recent builders have incorporated, and was probably the most knowledgeable person on the Tailwind design since Steve Wittman died years ago
