I get the need of combine power, but how does one afford more than one for less than 3-4000 acres per machine, plus the labor requirements and support equipment to make it efficient?? For the cost of these big machines, they should cover 10000 acres!!

Double what you pay for the combine to make repairs the first year Than plan on 10% of the price of the combine in repairs yearly SO if you find a machine for $10k, plan on $10K repairs right of the bat, and then $1K every year If you don't have this expense - you got lucky! Always carry a large fire extinguisher in the combine

My combine did not have lateral tilt, and I centered the headers center feed drum up with my feederhouse chain I know it doesn’t have the correct gleaner offset but it seems pretty minimal in the grand scheme of things
