Hi Guys, I have written a Cacti Installation and basic setup guide for CentOS 6 64bit Could you check it over and let me know if I have missed anything or if I can improve my method of installing and setting up Cacti I should clarify things a little by announcing I am a beginner with Cacti and Linux, I have primarily made the guide as a learning experience for myself If it helps anyone else

The Windows installer for Cacti has been revamped for Cacti v1 2 25 Whilst it has been tested on Windows 10 2016 2019, it is still considered to be in a BETA version for wider audience testing

when I create a new device on the cacti server it says xxxx@cacti-explore:~$ snmpwalk -v3 -l authPriv -u xxxx -a MD5 -A 'xxxxx' -x AES -X 'xxxx' 1xx x x x snmpwalk: Unknown user name but if I set it with version 2 the results are successful snmpwalk -c xxxx -v 2c even though the settings on my switch are for version 3 snmp-server group xxxx v3 auth

Does Cacti have a Windows agent now yet? Will try to install Cacti on my server (I failed on Friday evening, due to db-config failing - probably because I've turned on security on MySQL) again, and try the WMI plugin
