I know that an adjective is needed, but both "acceptable" and "accepted" can be adjectives and I'm not sure what the difference is in this context I see "accepted" as meaning "accepted by others" So it's like saying "We don't accept jeans in this restaurant", and the passive voice of that is "Jeans are not accepted in this restaurant (by us)"
