- I did really badly on the ALEKS math placement test. . .
I got a 34 on my ALEKS math placement test and they told me at orientation unless I plan to go into a math oriented field I would never have to take math again I’m not sure what components go into deciding that but my only credit towards math would have been the passing score I got on my AP Statistics exam

What is considered a decent score for the ALEKS? How do we figure out which math courses our major requires, or the gen-ed math requirements? I placed in the 61-75 bracket I am currently in DUS, however, I most likely will switch to Psychology Is this score high enough for the requirements of this major? I cannot seem to find which math courses are required for DUS, Psych, or in General

I recently took the ALEKS math placement test to determine what my first college math course will be, and I received a score of 69 My college requires a score of 46+ to take College Algebra, and a score of 61+ to take Calculus Although my score qualifies me to take Calc, I feel far more comfortable starting with College Algebra

I am wondering which test is a better option, sticking with aleks or using the study guides from aleks and apply it to the clep to test out of college level math (general ed requirment)

Aleks has 3 ACE approved Stats courses (Intro to Stats, Business Stats, Stats for Behavioral Sciences ) They're pretty much the same course, some of the questions are worded differently (the Business courses use business examples in the word problems and so on ) The transcript will come from ACE, so if you school will accept ACE credit courses, you should be good, I'd check with them first

Good Morning Everyone, I am here to give you an update on my registration at Purdue I had to take the ALEKS math placement assessment, I did not score so well the first time so I studied for 4 days straight and raised my score significantly I used the “scheduling assistant” to update my courses for the spring 2022 semester Here it is… Spring 2022 (13 total credit hours) EDPS 105
