If OpenOffice stored your files in a common location or folder, and if the “migration” process copies the files in that folder to your new computer, then, as pointed out by @robleyd and @Lupp, the files should be easy to locate and open on your new computer by using either (or both) your Operating System’s file manager and LibreOffice
