After troubleshooting, it turns out you have to use their windows store app to get higher resolution video Of course, therein lies the problem with ultrawide I have the UltraWideo extension set to 'upscale' to properly fill my screen, but you can't have extensions in the disney app afaik For me, this only leaves me with one option *hoists flag*

I log into disney plus on google chrome I hover my cursor on the profile on the top right and click on app settings and it tells you under data usage that there are three options: automatic, moderate and save data For automatic it says it streams in the highest quality available up to 4k uhd You should find it now

It seems that Disney finally released an actual Windows app for Disney+ Theres no debug menu or anything anymore, so I cant see for sure what resolution it is, but comparing It with the browser version, its definitely higher resolution I would say at least 1080p
