Brown County Library card holders have free access to a variety of newspaper and magazine content covering current events and recent news stories Some subscriptions are funded by Brown County Library; others are provided by the State of Wisconsin through Badgerlink, “Wisconsin’s Online Library ”
- Book Club Kits – Brown County Library
A member of your group with a library card in good standing can reserve and check out the kit for your entire group You can request that your kit be sent to any BCL location for pickup Book club kits check out for up to 35 days and can be reserved up to 365 days in advance (maximum 12 reservations per year)

The Brown County Library’s Local History and Genealogy Department was created when the current Central Library was opened in 1974 Since then, the Local History Genealogy collection has grown from 300 items to over 10,000 print volumes and 4,400 reels of microfilm
