the winnefox library system (wls) is located in oshkosh, wisconsin, a university community of over 63,000 people on the shore of lake winnebago. established in 1977, wls is a federated public library system serving fond du lac, green lake, marquette, waushara and winnebago counties. thirty public libraries, serving a population of over 290,000, are members of the system. through wls all residents of the five-county area have access to materials and services provided by any member library.
